This is a lovely winter scene from Ardgillan Park a place where I seem to find a perfect peace and it is full of things that capture my imagination as an artist and this was one scene that really caught me, it was the fern initially but as I started to sketch there was lot more around the fern that had the whole scene going on so I included it all and I took my time over a number of weeks to paint it as I had seen it and I am quite happy with the result.
