In Ard Gillan there are a lot of snow drops to view and in doing so brightens your day no end, sitting there in the cold and wind with there heads bowed getting on with their work to bring some cheer on a winters day, I have been teaching myself the art of water color and this is the best after many attempts to capture the beauty of these little fellows, it is a tough medium to work with and the image that kept coming to me as I worked was the meeting on the turret stairs and you just have to give no end of respect to the creator of that master piece and not forgetting Turner whose work I went to see in the national Gallery, water color has me in it’s grasp and I have a good few lined up to keep me busy in the evenings.
