Water colour 35x25cm
I was walking around the park of Ardgillan and spotted this little beauty in the flower bed at the back just beside the cafĂ©, I was a bit taken back by it’s beauty as I had never seen this particular specimen of the crocus before, I was lucky I had my camera with me and took a photo of which this is a replica in water colour, I know that there are a lot of people who admire the daffodil as the coming of spring but there are I think a lot more people who have a fondness for this little fella and I am one of the latter, the image shows mister crocus and he is helping his mate to gain height and fully open as she leans on him for support, she is giving him a little kiss to say thanks.
