WB Yeats
I wander into the golden sunlight, Reflections gather around me,
I stand still and ponder gently, while the aroma of birdsong fills my senses,
Traffic to and from the inner city go about their business,
With no notion of what it’s about, I stand still and gather my thoughts,
A leaf falls from an overhanging branch above my head,
Hypnotized by its swirling movement my head goes into a spin,
I start to fall and my thoughts collapse; I find a stone that is cold to touch,
But its life is in its colour which touches my mortal soul, nobody lives forever, we are just passing through, Dust in the wind.
